You got it, we’ve been on the hunt for local talent again! This time, we were after an experienced and versatile project manager, and boy did we get one! The accelerated growth we’ve experienced has resulted in an increased number of projects, and we found ourselves in need of some more hands to keep everything running smoothly. So, everybody, put your hands together for Kish Singh!
Project Management Perfection
Kish started his career as an IT apprentice for a local software development company which specialised in developing software solutions for the fire services in and around the UK. (How cool is that?) During this time, Kish had an awful lot of exposure to the software development life cycle, gained a lot of experience working within a development team and had the chance to work on a range of technical tasks which helped build up his skills and experience. He then moved on to manage a range of projects for various fire and rescue services.
Looks like we have a new office fire marshal!
In 2016, Kish moved to another local agency where he worked in the technical studio, which was made up of front-end developers, back-end developers and digital designers. As a result, Kish has tonnes of knowledge that spans from design and technical specification all the way to build and launch. On top of that, he now has over eight years’ experience managing software and web projects. Basically, if he were a mariachi band, he’d play all the instruments and Singh!

Kish is a self-confessed ‘agilist’: a person who supports the agile delivery process and methodology. In other words, he likes to test everything as soon as possible, and develop and improve it using feedback from users. This ensures the end result is tailored to a client’s needs and offers a great user experience. Kish is also super passionate about developing high-quality websites, which is standard issue with StrategiQ builds!
Ok, so he can do all that, but what does he do when he’s not a one-man project delivery machine?
Kish loves spending time with his family, especially his two-year-old Premraj, taking him to the local parks to explore, local play centres and trampoline parks (though apparently, it’s often more fun for Kish than it is his little man). As seems to be a running theme at StrategiQ, Kish is also a huge Marvel fan, so he spends a lot of time at the cinema with his wife, as well as sampling the latest fancy gins at any given opportunity. Alongside all that, he loves a good experimental cooking sesh and has assured us that we’ll be sampling his festive samosas sometime soon – as soon as his wife is brave enough to let him destroy the kitchen that is.
We asked Kish what made him choose StrategiQ, and it turns out he’s had his eye on us for a while:
“Having followed StrategiQ for a few years now, it has been fascinating to see its meteoric rise to becoming ‘a brand that people want to be a part of’. I have also heard rave reviews about their own experiences at StrategiQ from former colleagues Nick and Sean, which further convinced me that this was the perfect role for me. My first encounters with Andy and James, and the team as a whole, prior to discussing the role could not have been better. I genuinely believe Andy and James welcome new ideas and ways of working, and I’m excited to see what the future has in store for StrategiQ and myself.”
