Who’s that walking through the door? None other than the second new hire for August, QA Analyst, Alix Palmer!
Wanna learn a little about Alix?
Alix is a chameleon with a host of talents. Her love for music saw her undertake a music degree (more of that later) but, soon after graduating, she turned her eagle eyes towards digital marketing. Working agency-side, Alix quickly got to grips with the buzz of agency life, providing specialist IT support for a wide range of clients and pretty much setting up a QA function from scratch.
A spell as a project manager followed, before honing her meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills as a full time QA Analyst for a large marketing agency.
As QA for StrategiQ, Alix takes charge of ensuring that our clients get the projects and services that they’ve signed up for (so that beautiful website looks just as great on mobile for example) and checking that things don’t leave our doors until they’re in great shape.
In short, Alix is a (software) bug hunter – it’s just what she does! Alix’s reputation as a top QA had preceded her, so when she sought us out we couldn’t wait to bring her on board.
What does Alix get up to outside of work?
Alix’s passion for music keeps her pretty busy. She’s already an established bass player and is quickly mastering classical piano in her spare time (how jealous are we!).
Alix loves animals and hankers after a dog to call her own. Thankfully, many of the StrategiQ team share her passion for canines, so she can borrow one any time she wants a tummy rub!
