This year, StrategiQ entered the ‘Customer Reviews and Feedback’ category at the UK Digital Experience Awards. The award recognises organisations that have used customer reviews to generate increased business results. Putting forward one of our best CX (customer experience) web projects with our partner company, salonspy, we are proud to say we placed 2nd, ahead of Tesco Bank and Feefo!

Although we didn’t win, bringing home a silver award, when pitted against some genuine household names is a great achievement of which the whole team is proud. You can read more about the project we submitted here.

Recognising the Project Team

Although we win as a company, it is important to recognise the efforts of two particular members of the team involved in the project whose skill and hard work were at the absolute heart of this success.

Yasmin – Designer

Yas’ role was mostly focussed on refreshing salonspy’s brand and improving the previous interface while enhancing the overall user experience. The design of new functionality, in particular, review management dashboards and user admin tools, was an exciting challenge and one of many parts to the project in which she helped set salonspy apart from the competition.

“It’s an amazing achievement that I’m really proud to have played a part in. Looking back over the last two years to see how far we’ve helped move the business forward in that space of time has been very rewarding. It’s been a great team effort and I think particular kudos should go to James and Simon for the time and care that went into spec-ing and building it, the innovative thinking and the passion for creating a great product!”

Simon – Developer

Simon was a key player in the development of the new salonspy website. Working with Adam Thomas, Founder of salonspy, and one of our Directors, James, Simon helped build out a technical specification for the new salonspy site, finding efficiencies and setting the site up for scalability. This led to the development of salonspy’s new site from the ground up, bringing Yas’ visuals to life.

“salonspy is a project which I’m hugely proud to have been a part of – having worked with the team to take it from a “bedroom project” to a platform which is already scaling to generate thousands of reviews per month and onboarding some major brands. A huge well done to everybody involved, and I’m looking forward to taking the site even further!”

Congratulations to Yas, Simon and the rest of the team involved in the project – we couldn’t have done it without you!
