Oak Tree Mobility is a retailer of British-made mobility products including chairs, beds and bath lifts. Back in 2008 directors Ricky Towler and Tom Powell were frustrated and disappointed by the poor customer service and tired-looking products that seemed to be the norm in the mobility sector.

Determined to do things differently, they founded Oak Tree Mobility and set a whole new standard. Today, the business thrives on changing people’s lives for the better by matching them to match the perfect product.


As part of our onboarding, we carried out a detailed audit of Oak Tree’s paid search setup and assessed its performance against a rigorous set of standards, including campaign activity, targeting, audiences, ads and landing pages. Upon identifiing key areas for improvement, we applied best practices to:

_Control and optimise spending, resulting in better budget utilisation.

_Target different audiences, going beyond keywords to create personas to inform in-depth bid adjustments.

_Reduce the path to conversion, with detailed analytics around user engagement and visits to inform a robust and effective remarketing strategy.

The outcome was a targeted strategy with detailed insights and observations, plus a detailed competitor analysis. It was particularly important for the strategy to not only hit specific goals, but to keep up with the changing ad landscape.

Upon early reflection, the performance that has been delivered has surpassed the client’s initial expectations. The uplift has predominantly been down to improved levels of budget management and the refinement of campaign structure in order to increase ad relevancy levels and decrease the reliance on higher bid levels. 

But not only this, the close communication between our two teams has been the real driving force behind the campaign’s success. We have been able to reactively optimise activity in order to drive meaningful business results in the form of revenue generation.

Ideation and experimentation has been at the forefront of StrategiQ’s mindset since partnering with Oak Tree. Not only through campaign and ad copy messaging, but also through the landing page experience.

Making small incremental changes and monitoring performance closely has been one of the key catalysts to not only exceeding client goals, but ensuring the client has achieved its best ever months financially.
