The challenge

Calligo approached StrategiQ at a key point in their business journey. They had already established their brand and reputation within the cloud and technical services sphere, but their business was now evolving and restructuring. Truly leveraging the power of data and AI, their offering now encompassed world-class expertise in data architecture, data engineering, data analytics, data science and data visualisation as well as strong partner collaborations. They needed a new brand and website structure to truly reflect their identity, momentum and vision for the business. Their issues included:

Out-dated logo and brand: Calligo lacked a bold, clean visual identity that could hold its own in the ever evolving data industry and become a platform for their new positioning and tone of voice.

Weak colour palette: The pastel shades of their existing design did not convey their cutting-edge, incisive services and approach. 

Positioning: Neither their website architecture nor their imagery conveyed Calligo’s full offerings or their momentum as a business.

Scalability: Reflecting the poor existing architecture, Calligo were unable to update the site quickly or expand on their services with specific relevant pages or articles.

Presence: While they were an established player in the data intelligence industry, they were not using promotional campaigns to raise more awareness and highlight their thought leadership.

Our new visual identity, website and service offerings reinforces Calligo as a serious player in Data Services. What we did

Our work focused on redefining their brand to accurately convey Calligo’s increased capabilities, profound expertise and their ethos around connecting human intelligence with innovative technology. 

New, impactful brand: A fresh, striking logo blending the idea of data layers with a fingerprint pattern – merging the human and data elements of their business – to create the futuristic Calligo ‘C’ shape.

Confident graphic style: A new, neon-style colour palette using bold colours across their imagery and custom iconography to support their new brand story, message and proposition. All reinforcing them as a serious player in data services. 

Capacity to evolve: Built on an extensible architecture using a custom CMS theme, the new website beautifully articulates the Calligo story, positions the team as leaders in their field and helps connect them seamlessly with prospective clients.

Thought leadership: The new designs place Calligo’s knowledge and expertise front and centre, serving up articles powered by insights and keyword research as well as giving a face to the human aspect of their business.  

Attracting leads with authority: In addition to leveraging intent-based search behaviour, we’re now also using paid search and paid social media to promote thought leadership content directly to VPs, CTOs, CDOs and experts in the technical operations space.
