Round8 – A Fresh Approach to Recruitment
This week’s winner was chosen for their fresh approach to recruitment, they are called Round8 and are a leading multi-channel talent search recruitment company specialising in digital, media and tech, based in London and Sydney.
The branding is clear and so is what they do, the main header text states ‘We Are Talent Search Specialists’ and strong image of a bustling London street. This is a one page site but the way the navigation works within the page reveals a great deal of well written content and interaction.
Firstly it is clear that there is no ‘Job search’ function, so a priority for them is for the candidate or client to get in touch. The site navigation is minimal and first in line is ‘Story’ which takes you through some great pictures of the offices and friendly people shots to really give you a sense of the place. These images are what tells the story and helps to make you feel at ease, you’re beginning to know them and be really comfortable in calling them.
The content is written in a confident and approachable way, they have a great slider function of case studies that really show the variety of work they have done with large global brands.
This may be a small site but it means business, it is clever, in that you don’t have to work your way through a list of jobs, half of which have gone when you call to enquire, their message is very much an executive one, they are not competing with Monster or the likes of Reed they present something quite different and its that that makes them stand out.
