Over a month ago, we announced that we were shortlisted in this year’s UK Digital Experience Awards and we are now proud to announce that we have won Silver in the Best PPC Strategy category. The award recognises PPC campaigns that have been effective in making a positive impact and helping drive a business forward – which in our case was our work with Powertool World, one of the UK’s largest online power tool suppliers.
Why did our campaign stand out?
Google Shopping is a key channel for Powertool World and due to the tight margins in the sector, there are very strict KPIs. Variance in stock levels resulted in variance in campaign performance – a trend that we were keen to address. By moving away from automated bidding models to a more hands-on manual bidding strategy, we found the sweet spot for optimising bids.
Our changes to the management and strategy of the Google Shopping campaign saw CPA reduce significantly and ROI increase even more impressively – regardless of increased competition and seasonal factors throughout the year.
Impact of the award
In the past year, our biddable media team has grown in size and expertise and we have had the impact of the team on our clients saw us shortlisted in the 2019 UK Biddable Media Awards for Small Biddable Agency of the Year and Best Use of Shopping Ads.
