StrategiQ Marketing are delighted to announce that we have been named in the Future50 class of 2016. On Wednesday 18th of November, we attended an event at Redwell Brewery, where the members of the new look Future50 were revealed.

What is the Future50?

Created as a new business growth programme to recognise up and coming innovative companies, the Future50 assembles the “ones to watch” into a definitive list of 50 businesses. Members of the Future50 are selected based on their ambition to grow their business and a commitment to creating jobs, amongst other important criteria.

It offers its members a powerful business network with which to interact and cooperate, as well as access to funding to enable growth, quality business advice, inspirational networking events and innovative multimedia business support.

Richard Voisey, Senior Business Advisor at Nwes said, “A Future50 business is one that’s going to make a real impact on the economy. It’s going to have drive and ambition, create jobs and invest money to grow their business”. Partners of the Future50 include Barclays, Birketts, Lovewell Blake and UEA.

What does the Future50 mean for StrategiQ?

We have built the business over the past two years by investing in the right people, skills, training and tools, which at times has been really difficult as new business owners, with no investment or funding. Being recognised as a Future50 member acknowledges the hard work to date that has seen StrategiQ develop into one of the industry’s most promising and innovative companies.

One of our key goals for 2016 is to not only employ the best people in our industry, but become an employer of choice, something which is really important to us. Aside from the culture and benefits already in place, we really hope that this adds to why future designers, developers and marketing experts will want to join our revolution!

The opportunity for investment is also key to our growth plans. Having recently signed a lease on a 2000 sq ft office barn conversion in a great location on the outskirts of Suffolk we want to create a unique and fun creative space for clients and the team to enjoy. This investment is going to cost a small fortune even with our financial director reining us back in.


Looking toward the future, the Future50 gives us the support to continue to push the business forward and deliver at a consistently high level. Our acceptance into the Future50 offers considerable opportunities in building our media connections, something that will no doubt be of importance in our future PR efforts, both for ourselves and for our clients.

What does the Future50 mean for our clients?

We understand that we will only be successful if the strategies we develop for our clients work, and they are successful in helping our clients grow and achieve their goals.

We believe that the Future50 reassures our clients that their marketing partner is firmly established and recognised for a culture of excellence and delivery.

A recent study suggested that businesses choosing to work with a new marketing agency look for expertise, scalability, partnership and service as part of their decision process. The Future50 membership shows that we have established these processes and applied them to successful client strategies.

From a personal point of view, I am extremely proud to see StrategiQ achieve the recognition. Anyone in business understands the risks, hard work and commitment it takes to build a company and it’s great to see this recognised. It’s an exciting opportunity for us, and one that reflects a real milestone in our journey. It’s great for the team and has created a real buzz in the office, as we come to the end of 2015 and look towards 2016.
