Red Nose Day came to the StrategiQ offices on Friday 18th March, in the form of a team dressed in red, a raffle and plenty of snacks to help raise money for Comic Relief.
Comic Relief partners with multiple projects and organisations to help people to break free from poverty, violence and discrimination both in the UK and internationally. Most recently, at the time of writing this, Comic Relief has been fundraising to help support the victims of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Providing support home and away, Comic Relief has helped over 11 million people over the past two years, including those experiencing financial and material poverty, victims of domestic abuse and those facing discrimination, sexism and hate crime.

Naturally, the team at StrategiQ were keen to get involved, and donate to help people far and wide who are in less fortunate situations than themselves. To encourage as much giving as possible, we donned our reddest outfits and set about raising as much as we could amongst the group.
The main attraction for the day’s fundraising was the charity raffle, with prizes donated by the directors at StrategiQ.
The wide range of prizes included:
- A fancy candle set by Neom
- A bottle of gin
- A bottle of Charmaine
- A bottle of Rioja
- A £25 Wagamama gift card
- A £25 Nando’s Gift Card
- A dinner for two
- A toilet brush
- A reusable vegetable bag
- Car air fresheners
Collectively, we raised £202 from raffle ticket sales, with some very happy prize winners (Levi loved her vegetable bag) and a substantial donation, we were pleased with our fundraising. To make an even bigger impact to as many people as we could, StrategiQ also matched the donation, and we finished at a total of £404 towards the charity.
