This month, we’re celebrating our latest MVP, Tyler Webb-Harding!
Every month, the team votes for the colleague who’s gone the extra mile. And this time, they voted in numbers we’ve never seen before. Twenty votes, for the bloke who spent MAD//Fest wrapped head to toe in orange thread.
That’s Tyler Webb-Harding, our Growth Director. Or, as most of the agency knew him this month: Fred.
“It has to be Tyler. Not just because he was Fred, but for his consistent energy, effort and impact across the agency. Not only is he a pleasure to work with, he always gives us and our clients his all. This attitude that lifts people, sets the bar on what agency-effort should be, and makes him key to our culture.”

The man behind the thread
Tyler’s actual job is closing new business, building client relationships and keeping growth moving at StrategiQ. It’s a job that doesn’t stop for anything, including a bespoke orange suit.
Because when someone needed to become Fred, StrategiQ’s mascot and the physical embodiment of the Orange Thread, for three days at MAD//Fest 2026, Tyler said yes. And then he went further.
He wore the suit through 30°C heat. He struck up conversations with strangers on the festival floor. He threw himself into content, breakdanced, DJ’d and somehow found a moment to meet Rory Sutherland along the way. He didn’t pause his day job to do it either – the deals kept closing, the pipeline kept moving, Fred just came along for the ride.
“Tyler was born to be our Fred at MAD//Fest. He spent hours in that costume, representing StrategiQ at MAD//Fest, driving an incredible amount of engagement, collecting leads and creating memorable interactions throughout the event.
He did all of this during some of the hottest days of the London heatwave, yet never stopped smiling or bringing energy to everyone around him. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he played a huge part in making our presence such a success.”
Why the vote broke records
Ask around and the same word keeps coming up: commitment. Both to the costume and to what it represented.
“Anyone could have worn the thread suit but only Tyler could have truly been Fred,” one nomination read. “He properly flew the StrategiQ flag throughout one of the biggest heatwaves, keeping the energy going without a single complaint.”
Another put it simply: “No one worked harder in the MAD//Fest heat and hysteria than Fred, the legend himself. What started as a crazy idea quickly became a phenomenon.”
And it wasn’t lost on the team that Tyler kept doing his actual job the entire time. “What stands out most is that, alongside all of the Fred fun, he continued driving sales efforts and supporting the wider team without missing a beat,” read one vote. Another agreed: “His commerciality around his Growth Director role, his positive attitude to any task, his commitment to his Client Director responsibilities… all add up to a phenomenal few months.”
Twenty people, twenty different reasons, one clear answer.

Fred, this one’s yours
The suit made him hard to miss. The heat made it hard work. But it was what was underneath that made it a record: energy that never dipped, commitment that showed up whether anyone was watching or not and a Growth Director who never once let Fred get in the way of a good conversation with a prospective client.
Enjoy the duvet day, Tyler. You’ve earned it.
