We’re delighted to announce that StrategiQ has been shortlisted for the 2018 UK Digital Experience Awards!
Now in their fourth year, the UK Digital Experience Experience Awards reward excellence and innovation in using digital technology to improve customer experience. More specifically, the awards are targeted at those using applications that meet customer needs and deliver tangible business benefits.
This year, StrategiQ entered the ‘Customer Reviews and Feedback’ category, which recognises organisations that have used customer reviews to generate increased business results. Putting forward one of our best CX (customer experience) web projects with our partner company, salonspy, we are proud to say we are now finalists!
Project Background
In the hair and beauty industry, reviews and referrals are essential to business growth and success. In 2012, Adam Thomas recognised this, establishing salonspy.co.uk, an interactive review platform that offers a service to obtain verified, post-appointment reviews of salons and spas throughout the UK.
After five years of steady growth, salonspy appointed StrategiQ in 2017 to improve its platform, brand and search visibility to bring in more reviews and sales. A core project objective was to effectively communicate the value of a salonspy partnership to salon owners, showing them they could build a reputation and be provided tools and insights for running their businesses while also retaining and attracting new customers.
Over the course of six months, StrategiQ completely redesigned and rebuilt the platform from the ground up to fully harness the power of reviews and leverage them in Google’s search results. StrategiQ achieved and exceeded all project objectives, doubling reviews on the platform in the first six months. Salonspy is also currently undergoing valuation and the next phase of its business strategy, having recently caught the attention of multiple potential investors.
What happens next?
StrategiQ will present at the awards on 12 July 2018, where we will be judged on the night by a panel of 3 to 8 judges, along with other big names like Tesco Bank.
