Our epic treadmill-a-thon in support of Solving Kids’ Cancer, where Team StrategiQ managed to raise more than £3,100 by running a collective 206 miles in 5 days (find out more here), wasn’t the only highlight of last week. We also welcomed 2 new team members, who were well and truly thrown in at the deep end – not many new starters get to complete their employee induction while pounding out the miles on the office treadmill!
Firstly, let me introduce our new Senior Marketing Consultant, Amy Coulthard (pictured right).
Amy has worked in marketing for over 7 years, starting out as a student at Toyota’s head office, building experience in direct marketing and social media, engaging with the brand’s active community.
Amy has been on the agency side for the last 4 years, gaining more practical experience and specialising in digital marketing. She has managed various projects, including the development of Toyota’s UK website, and is well versed in designing, building and implementing bespoke software solutions to meet the individual business requirements of her clients. In her most recent role, as Account Director for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Amy played a vital role in developing their eCRM activity.
Amy had this to say about her appointment…
“I was really drawn to StrategiQ’s integrated approach to marketing – it was actually the subject of my dissertation! I too feel strongly that marketing activity should always be underpinned by a strategy to give clear direction and the ability to measure success. I really liked StrategiQ’s philosophy that your marketing agency should care about your business as much as you do as I’ve always considered myself to be an extension of my clients’ businesses. I’m passionate about continuous improvement and strive to deliver results we can all be proud of.”
Joining Amy is our new Content Outreach Executive, Levi Williams-Clucas (left of picture).
Levi is a recent Marketing and Advertising graduate, who decided, after getting some work experience at a global mobile advertising agency and freelancing as an in-house marketer, that she wanted to stick to her Suffolk roots and stay on the agency side. Levi has dabbled in design, content, SEO and social media, which should set her up perfectly for the PR/outreach role.
“When I got the call from StrategiQ, I was really excited to be given the opportunity to be part of an agency with such passion and vibrancy. After meeting Andy for the interview and seeing the way everybody looked so at home, happy and motivated, I realised that this was the agency for me. I’m excited to have been brought on board with such a warm welcome and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me at StrategiQ.”
Welcome aboard, guys!
P.S. It’s not too late to donate for our herculean efforts on the treadmill last week. Please visit the Just Giving page and show your support – it’s a very worthy cause. Thanks.
