UK Search Award Hat-trick for PPC and SEO
4th December was a night of triple celebrations for StrategiQ, TraditionData and Lovat Parks as we brought home not one, but three awards from the UK Search Awards 2024. It’s our eighth year of success at the awards and every year the competition is fierce, featuring impressive work from agencies and big brands.
Award-winning PPC for Lovat Parks
We claimed the ‘Best use of search – Travel / Leisure (PPC): Large’ for the third consecutive year, a testament to the consistently great work that we do with clients in the travel industry. The award win celebrates the optimisation work we’ve done with UK holiday homes business, Lovat Parks, doubling holiday revenue through paid search in just 10 months.
Considering the competition included big brands like Virgin Atlantic, Cathay Pacific, Hilton, Whitbread and Pizza Express, we were even more chuffed with the win! The judges said that our ‘application of audience targeting… combined with a thoughtful geotargeting approach’ set our work apart. They remarked that ‘integrating revenue results into the ad platform was a significant game changer (that) showcased the team’s technical expertise and determination.‘
Jonathan Morley, Business Development Director at Lovat Parks, said, “Congratulations to the talented team at STRATEGIQ for their outstanding contribution to our business this year. Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve in 2025!”
Gold-plated SEO campaigns for TraditionData
Returning to the podium for a second time, we were proud to claim ‘Best low budget campaign (SEO): Large’ for our financial services client TraditionData, a magic moment in our two year relationship.
The award-winning work centred around enhancing online visibility and organic search performance with a reduced budget. To achieve this, our SEO team focused on building brand credibility and trust by meeting the audience across multiple touchpoints.
We really appreciated the judges feedback that: ‘The strategy not only delivered scale rapidly but also maintained high quality, demonstrating the effectiveness of innovative technology in driving success. The tailored approach of this solution aligned perfectly with the client’s needs, the marketplace, and the positive outcomes.’ That feedback was particularly meaningful in light of the September launch of our commitment to creating New Future Value for clients through an approach that proactively looks to optimise, accelerate and innovate marketing activities.
Setting the standard for effective SEO practices
To win ‘Best use of AI in Search’ in the awards inaugural year was incredible validation of our work in an area of innovation that we’ve really been investing in as a business and is already yielding great results for clients like TraditionData.
We used AI to develop a content strategy that maintained the brand’s tone of voice, filled competitor gaps and built credibility. This work saw TraditionData’s ranking keywords increase from 643 to 3,114, a significant uplift in pipeline deals and deals won, all adding up to a ROAS of 6,445%. All of which exceeded our own and the client’s expectations.
We were delighted with the judges’ feedback which highlighted our ‘innovative use of AI’ in tackling ‘the longstanding (SEO) challenge of achieving rapid scale while maintaining quality.’ They remarked on how our solutions are ‘perfectly tailored to the client’s needs, the marketplace, and the desired outcomes’ and commented on our ‘deep understanding of both technology and strategy‘. They described our integration of AI as ‘thoughtful’ saying that it ‘not only highlights creativity but also sets a new standard for effective SEO practices‘.
Lexa Palfrey, Global Marketing Manager at TraditionData said, “These wins are a testament to the creativity, dedication and expertise that have gone into elevating the TraditionData brand over the last few years. It has been an incredible journey and I couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved together.”
“Last night was up there as one of our best awards nights ever. The quality of brands and agencies we were up against in our categories was so high it made the wins even more significant. We’re really proud to be doing great work for clients that realises New Future Value for their businesses. Being told that we’re setting new standards was also an incredible validation of our positive industry impact. I couldn’t be more proud of what the team’s achieved, or more excited for what’s to come.”
