It’s been a busy year in 2020 for StrategiQ, and we’re here again welcoming another new face into the family. It’s time to say hi to Account Director Ollie Kmiecik!
So who is this Ollie guy, Anyways?
Ollie started his career in digital marketing over a decade ago, starting his early days setting up social and digital media for Toyota and gaining experience and knowledge over the years that found him creating global digital strategies for brands such as Samsung and Nissan.
Highlights of his career to date include working to provide behind the scenes digital experience for fans of the Paralympics in Rio in 2016 and Pyeongchang in 2018 Games which aimed to show a side of the event you’d never normally see. This was done by selecting a number of athletes who’d create vlogs which would then be edited to show life around the Games and to give insight into what it takes to really be a Paralympic Athlete.
Ollie is incredibly proud of the work he’s done with the Paralympics and also to have worked with Toyota and Lexus, the world’s biggest and most valuable car brand, in building their digital department into an award-nominated and winning team.
So, he’s pretty fancy.
But when he’s not being fancy in marketing, what does he do?
Outside of work, Ollie loves to go sailing in the coastal waters of Suffolk and is an avid member of Aldeburgh Yacht Club where he races his 21ft wooden boat, named Loch Long.
When he’s not sailing the Loch Long, his other big passion in life is advocating for the ‘field to fork’ lifestyle. This movement encourages food production at home where possible and shopping from local farms/businesses with local produce, that helps to reduce food miles and also supports small local businesses – great for the rolling fields of Suffolk!

What made this marketer-come-farmer-come-sailor choose StrategiQ?
“I’ve known StrategiQ to be one of the brightest and best agencies around, so when the opportunity came to apply, I jumped at the chance. It’s particularly strong for an agency to be growing during 2020 given the constraints in the world, but that’s a hugely positive sign for any business.”
We’re so pleased to have you join the family Ollie, welcome!
