Another day, another new face here at StrategiQ HQ! Please join us as we welcome Marketing Executive Imogen (AKA Immie) Jones! *applause*
As our team is ever-growing – working with bigger and better clients, creating bigger and better brands – we’ve realised we’ve been in need of some extra help doing some real hands-on stuff. That’s where Imogen comes in, spending her day-to-day learning, developing and growing her skills in a variety of channels within the marketing team.

Imogen started her marketing career almost two years ago, during her final year of university. She undertook a sales and marketing internship, and from there she progressed into marketing in the finance sector. Imogen worked closely with corporate and personal finance teams alongside some very well-known fintech companies and high-net-worth individuals, helping out with their marketing strategies.
It was during this stint in the finance industry that Imogen found her enthusiasm for copywriting, content creation and social and email auditing. Immie is a digital marketing geek and loves anything that allows her to use her analytical brain and creative talents together.

What does Immie do at home?
Imogen is a big fan of a brain game that tests her problem-solving skills. She likes to chill out of an evening with a Rubik’s Cube or sudoku, whilst listening to her favourite classical tunes. Imogen is a huge fan of the BBC Proms, held every year at the Royal Albert Hall, and shall be attending again this year, pandemic permitting.
Imogen doesn’t only feed her brain the finest things; she also loves to treat herself to some fine dining, most recently in the restaurant at the top of The Shard, complete with beautiful views to match. Immie thoroughly enjoys a glass of fizz and a gaze at the sunset with a delicious dinner to wind down, but she also loves to stretch it out with some therapeutic exercises like yoga and pilates and some meditation to keep the mind healthy. Imogen lives the dream!

“It’s been about a year since I first found out about StrategiQ whilst researching digital marketing agencies in Suffolk. StrategiQ really stood out to me because of the people, and I decided I really wanted to be part of the team in this very up-and-coming business. The career opportunities were also appealing as it enables the depth/variety of experience as well as dedicated time for skills, training and development. I can get stuck into one aspect of digital marketing such as SEO, but at the same time can also spend time on data analytics qualifications. My skills are very broad but I am hoping to specialise over time once I find my niche. Another reason I chose StrategiQ is that the values here similarly reflect mine – goals-oriented, driven and aspirational. I have a willingness to learn, discover new skills and try out new experiences, and I think StrategiQ is the perfect place to embrace that.”
