The sun is finally shining, and the good news continues, as we announce our monthly MVP winner!
The MVP initiative is a longstanding StrategiQ tradition that gives the team the opportunity to nominate one of their colleagues at the end of each month for the effort and dedication they put into their work.
This month, 27 individuals received at least one vote from their fellow team members. Our CPO, Sarah Smith was right in saying her classic phrase “that there was a lovely spread of nominations”. So without further ado, it’s time to reveal our top 3 and MVP winner for July…
In third place this month is someone who consistently demonstrates why he deserves to be MVP. His ability to continually grow and develop his team is something to be celebrated and is truly noteworthy. Congratulations to our Creative Director, Ash Thrower.
“This month, he has been a rock for all projects, bringing some tricky clients on the journey with us, looking after the teams around him, and working on new business. He’s also taken on building connections with other agencies to broaden our offering for clients, been instrumental in designing and managing the new StrategiQ brand that we’re all buzzing to see in September; all while training for whatever insane gym challenge he has next and looking after his family and young children. This man needs MVP and that’s why this month, my vote has to go to Ash.”
“My MVP nomination goes to Ash, who has greatly helped the creative team grow and manages them very well. Ash shows great leadership, creating a space where creativity and teamwork thrive. His clear vision and supportive attitude have helped the team reach important goals and produce excellent work. Ash’s ability to mentor and guide each team member has improved their skills and strengthened the team as a whole. His dedication, innovative thinking, and excellent management make him truly deserving of the MVP award.”
Our MVP runner up has only been with us a few months, yet she has quickly distinguished herself with her exceptional problem-solving skills and client communication. Known as the “Project Manager Extraordinaire”, second place goes to the brilliant Senior Project Manager, Bridget Parfitt.
“This month I would like to nominate Bridget for MVP. She’s only been here for a short amount of time but has been making a big impact across project management and project delivery. She’s constantly looking to make improvements, challenging the process and how we should be working to ensure that we’re efficient, profitable and also delivering great work. I can’t wait to see the impact that she makes over the next few months – keep up the great work Bridget!”
“Bridget!! Project Manager extraordinaire! She is all over her projects, keeping them on track and doing everything she can to keep them on budget. She listens, takes feedback on board and is very collaborative. I love the way she communicates with the clients and colleagues alike to create a real team feel amongst everyone. Our July MVP goes to our fantastic Marketing Manager, Nick Wells. Despite being with us for less than three months, Nick has made a significant impact on the agency. His creativity, passion, and mentorship have been praised by many team members. We always look forward to his next big idea or witty personal branding posts.

In the short amount of time we have had Nick, I don’t think he has gone unmentioned and let’s not forget the amount of votes he received in last month’s MVP, after only being here for just under 3 months!
