Every Monday, the StrategiQ Team make their picks as to their top 5 favourite websites of the week.
And the winners are…
1. Headache Off
The winner of this week’s Web Top 5 is the Headache Off site from Nurofen. The website’s strong and clever usage of animation and sound is where this site really excels. Providing humorous causes for our headaches, the site takes a very light hearted and random tone, which helps it really stand out from the crowd.
2. Cinderella
The second site in this week’s Web Top 5 is the website for the upcoming Cinderella film. The site’s bright and airy feel replicates the tone of the movie that it represents and its use of footage and imagery from the film in the form of a book, which helps it to connect better with its subject matter.
3. Grind Spaces
The third site on the list is the Grind Spaces website. Boasting a consistent colour palette throughout and a font that compliments it well, the Grind website also does a fantastic job of sharing its strong body of content and foregrounding it, even against the website’s strong design.
4. Matthew Cox
The Matthew Cox site is another example of a bright layout and colour scheme that works to foreground its product and service in a really positive manner. A simple navigation and image heavy persona give this website the character that it desires. We really like this site.
5. Decorative Collective
Rounding off the Web Top 5 this week, is the Decorative Collective website, which is a really classy website to match its product. The navigation and menu add a real quantity of content to the website, which places its products at the forefront of its persona.
