Introducing the latest addition to our team, Amber Smith!
Amber joins Team StrategiQ as a Marketing Executive, bringing a burst of energy and innovation to our dynamic workplace. Having started her journey with us as an Intern, Amber has now joined us permanently as a Marketing Executive where she is expanding her knowledge, developing her skills and gaining industry experience within an expert team.
Amber, what brought you to StrategiQ?
I joined StrategiQ to gain experience in the agency world and develop my skills in this industry.
Before this, I went to Ipswich High School where I studied Art, Business and Psychology at A-Level. Those subjects gave me a good grounding as they play a huge role in marketing.
I’m creative and love art, which helps with my design work. I’m also intrigued by the intersection of business and psychology, an area I explored in my extended project qualifications. Now, I’m applying this knowledge in real-world situations at StrategiQ.
My work background consists of working as a Tennis Coach, an admin at Gressingham Food and a Waitress, so I have always been fortunate to be in jobs that I have loved and that continues to this day.
What are you most excited about in your role?
I have found joy in my role within the CX team, particularly in crafting client emails. My excitement stems from using my creative abilities to unlock my full potential in design work.
What is your work-related superpower?
I’m super organised and like structure which allows me to manage my time effectively.
What is the best way to work with you?
Be clear and concise, and concentrate on the task at hand. Deal with me in an honest and sincere way.
What is your mission statement?
“My mission is to develop a versatile skillset so I can become a dynamic force within the agency. I’m dedicated to delivering impactful results for our clients through strategic and creative efforts all while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field of marketing.”
What do you get up to outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy playing the piano, and painting, and have recently rekindled my passion for running. These hobbies help me unwind after work and maintain a creative flow. My perfect weekend includes a long dog walk, a roast at the pub, and quality time with friends.
