Sorry, that’s about as far as the Japanese goes. (I spent more time eating ramen than I did learning the language while I was away on my holidays!)
Anyway, enough about me. I’m actually here to tell you about our latest addition to the team. That’s right – we’ve only gone and hired again!
Who’d have thought this time last year that we’d be at an astonishing 27 team members? And counting! (even these Japanese fish are impressed at those numbers!) Our latest recruit is none other than design demon Keiran Buchanan!
A bit more about Keiran…
Keiran has been designing for almost three years, working at various Suffolk agencies after completing an internship at a (former) local music venue and promotions company. During this fascinating internship, Keiran created a video promoting a recording artist’s EP.
So, not only is Keiran a fab designer, but he loves a bit of video to boot. We love a varied skill set at StrategiQ, so it’s never a bad thing to have some hidden tricks up your sleeve!
Hey Mr. DJ…
As you may have guessed, Keiran likes his music. He’s always got an earphone in, and you never know what it’s going to be – he loves pretty much anything, old or new, and is forever on the search for unheard, untapped music to fill his days and help him concentrate in such a busy and bustling environment.
Despite the variety of music out there nowadays, we all have days where we just can’t decide what to listen to. Well, instead of just making do with something on the office music box, Keiran goes one step further and makes some music to fit his mood (with varying degrees of success, according to him) using a program called Ableton.
Why StrategiQ?
With all that musical expertise, you may be wondering why Keiran decided to join the team here instead of becoming a full-time music master. Here’s what he said:
“I chose StrategiQ since I’d been aware of them for some time as one of the top digital agencies in Suffolk, but it wasn’t until my interviews that I was able to learn a lot more. When I first came in, it felt like there was a lively atmosphere around the office, and everyone here seemed not just good at what they do, but genuinely passionate about it too. I was really impressed by the way StrategiQ and Andy invest in the development of the team, and that was something I really wanted to be part of. I am ready to further my career, particularly in digital design, and from seeing the work produced here, I couldn’t see a better company to get me there! Also, there are plants in the office. That’s never a bad thing, is it?”
