We continue to champion women today, and every other day.
Last night was a fantastic celebration of women in industry at the DevelopHER Awards.
We’ve been proud sponsors of DevelopHER since it started 9 years ago and every year builds upon the last. Year on year, more women are seen and celebrated and have the chance to share their stories, grow their confidence and encourage others on their journey.
This year we had the chance to celebrate two of our incredible team being shortlisted – Louise Goodthorp & Alix Palmer and there wasn’t a dry eye in the team when it was announced that Louise’s incredible talent, dedication and resilience had been recognised with the Inspiration Award. A true reflection of, and testament to, the woman she is.
We also got to cheer on Lauren Grubb and Olivia Phillips who took to the stage to inspire others with their stories.
Witnessing women facing their fears, pushing themselves outside of their comfort zones and doing remarkable things means a huge amount to me personally. It reminds me of the ups and downs of my own journey and gives me hope for those to come.
The awards really are a testament to their remarkable initiator Vickie, who built them off the back of her own experiences. She does an amazing job of pulling everything together and making every woman in the room feel seen and recognised. Huge thanks to all involved!
