Pushing for her personal best

Summer’s shaping up to be a busy one on the recruitment front! This time, it’s the turn of new hire, Copywriter Rosie Denny!

Rosie’s love of words started back in 2001, when she graduated from the University of Leeds. After a while pondering ‘what to do’ with her shiny new degree, Rosie bagged a junior editorial role at a Suffolk book publisher and has never looked back.

Since then, she’s worked as an editor for children’s book publishers Dorling Kindersley, working on a diverse range of titles such as Ancient Egypt, the Human Body and Dinosaurs (she can spot a pterodactyl from 100 paces).

In 2007, she landed a role as a full-time copywriter for business software house, the Access Group. Here, Rosie spent many years honing copy for hundreds of successful B2B campaigns, including case studies, emails, white papers and on-page web copy.

Rosie’s solid tech grounding proved the perfect springboard for later career development, writing copy for tech firms Bizagi and FLOvate. A flexible kinda gal, she’s also worked her word magic on pharmaceutical firm Creative Medical Research and in education for the University of Essex, as well as a local school.

Rosie also brings agency experience, having worked for two marketing companies as an account manager. However, she’s old enough to recognise that her true passion lies with words. Her experience, can-do attitude and cheery personality helped steer her full circle to the copywriter role at StrategiQ.

What does Rosie enjoy – apart from writing?

Rosie’s a dedicated runner and lives in hope of shaving ‘just one minute’ off her half marathon PB. A Parkrun regular, she loves engaging her competitive streak, listening to some cheesy dance classics while she sweats it out!

Rosie’s a trained florist and enjoys messing around with bits of oasis, wires and ribbon to perfect her trade.
