We chat to Finance Assistant Victoria (Vicki) Scannell.
Let’s learn a little about Vicki…
Vicki has been keeping clients’ books tidy for as long as she can remember. Over her career, she’s worked with a variety of clients in the hospitality sector, supporting finance teams locally and from a distance. A part qualified AAT accountant, Vicki gets involved in everything from invoicing and purchasing to credit control. Day-to-day, she’ll be supporting StrategiQ’s Head of Finance, Kirsty Fitzgerald.
What things is Vicki super-good at?
As you’d expect from someone in finance, Vicki’s got a great head for numbers – but more than that, she’s super organised and analytical. Vicki describes her role as ‘Maths combined with Tetris’ – an approach that allows her to study for her AAT Level 4 qualification in the evenings – as well as running around after her two young children.
What part of your role are you most excited about, Vicki?
“I like to be hands-on and am excited to get involved in the marketing industry. It’s a great opportunity to work towards my career goals while helping to drive the business forward. Having worked in finance for quite some time, I’m now ready to take the next step in my career and am looking forward to embracing all the challenges that working for a marketing agency brings.”
