You guessed it… we’ve been recruiting again! We’ll give you some time to get used to all our new faces eventually! This time around, we’ve welcomed SEO Extraordinaire and all-around Wonder Woman Hannah Rampton to the marketing team! Hannah joined the team in February and she’s off to a flying start as she’s already earned a nomination for MVP and has settled in on the marketing desk like part of the furniture.
Having been in the industry for over 10 years (that’s pre-Google 2.0!), she has seen first-hand the developments of the search landscape and has some remarkable achievements along the way. Featured as one of ’95 Women who influenced the SEO industry’, she was also a finalist for ‘Top SEO Female’ in a global community award back in 2012, plus having worked with a range of exciting brands both in the UK and internationally, including the four Merlin owned theme parks, she knows her stuff.
With a specialism in Technical SEO, she is often deep in code or crunching numbers on excel spreadsheets with mind-bogglingly complicated formulas, as well as making the most of her creative streak;
“There is no greater feeling than seeing your creative brand-building strategy unfold and having a meaningful and lasting impact on the business! The reality of the search results is that it’s not always the worthiest business visible at the top of the organic results. Fond of a bit of creative downtime, Hannah spends her ‘free time’ weaving or welding in her workshop, and thoroughly enjoys taking her Husband and German Shepherd out in the sticks for a wander in the woods. When she’s not creating, number crunching or exploring, there’s nothing better to relax with than some peaceful Yoga and meditation. No wonder she’s so calm when Google releases an algorithm update…
