David Shepherd Campaign
Harnessing AI for wildlife conservation
The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation is a wildlife conservation charity funding key conservation projects across Africa and Asia. With a mission to increase awareness about the need to protect and conserve Pangolins, Elephants, Tigers, Snow Leopards, Rhinos, Painted Dogs, Chimpanzees and Lions and their habitats, David Shepherd adopted AI to illustrate trafficking ‘Through the eyes of’ the pangolin.
With World Pangolin Day on February 3rd, our weekly Creative Content Session, led by our Content and PR Manager, united creative minds to brainstorm innovative campaigns to raise awareness about Pangolin trafficking. Despite having never used AI before, The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation embraced our idea to use AI to illustrate the Pangolin’s journey through trafficking. This powerful storytelling aimed to raise funds, highlighting that if Pangolins are not saved soon, AI and artwork may be the only means of seeing them.
