Aquila approached StrategiQ with the desire to dramatically accelerate the growth of the business over the next 5 years so that Managing Director, Jon can set up the future he wants to provide for his family.Â
Our initial strategy incorporated a complete brand overhaul, new website, and supportive marketing activity to drive leads and revenue through the business. ​​This investment and approach was a new and bold step for Aquila, but with ambitious goals and a mission to develop into a wider energy solutions business; Jon knew he’d made the right decision partnering with StrategiQ.
Since launching our first strategy in February 2022, we have built strong foundations for our growth trajectory. Our brand repositioning project showcased a refreshed visual identity, tone of voice and brand guidelines document, with a considered bank of icons, supporting graphic elements, colour palette and image library available for us to uterlise. Designed to drive conversion, pre-qualify leads and achieve maximum engagement, our newly developed, WordPress website included forward-thinking design, carefully curated content and engaging functionality. We have continued to improve the website and landing page experience to drive a higher conversion rate and boost the ability to convert users to boiler quotes and appointments through continued experimentation of paid media landing pages with Google Optimize.
To support sales targets we provided the Aquila team with valuable leads and revenue from highly creative, seasonal paid campaigns that resonated with audiences to provide fantastic conversion results.
Since implementing our Search Strategy, we have seen a strong improvement in both overall sessions and those directly from organic. Organic sessions have also improved in quality with both pages / session and contact page views increasing – with a significant increase in the period after the new site launch, demonstrating the improvement to user experience and conversion intent.
With a confident partnership now fully flourished, the later stages of our strategy included trials with new service lines – CX, PR & Content.
The cost of living crisis, energy bills and uncertainty over financial stability provided the perfect arena to position Aquila as thought-leaders. Confident in our communicating the team’s expertise, we provided guides and support that was amplified through PR tactics to drive visibility and position. A wider content plan was then curated to provide impactful, relevant and timely content that in turns builds links, generates awareness and communicates Aquilas values. Through Performance and CX optimisation, we began increasing the conversion of leads into the business through user data and activity that drives personalised and relevant communications on the right channel, at the right time to the right user.
