Vine House Farm sell high quality bird food, bird feeders and bird care accessories through their website, with proceeds from every sale going to The Wildlife Trust.

Unfortunately, Vine House Farm had reached an impasse with the agency developing their new website and the project had come to a standstill. StrategiQ were asked to step in and help bring the site to fruition.

Rather than simply picking up where the previous agency left off, we went back to basics and completed a thorough technical audit of the work to date. The result of this audit suggested a change of approach was needed, so we agreed it would be best for us to start again from an SEO perspective, while working with some of the existing design guidelines.

Nailing down a robust tech spec was critical as the new website would rely heavily on third party integrations and hosting, while adhering to the technical, legislative and compliance requirements of the chosen payment gateway and the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC).

Within six months, we had designed, developed and delivered a complete e-commerce platform to our exacting technical standards. The site’s performance speaks for itself, with a conversion rate of 18.7%, which represents an increase of 79% year on year.
