Tradewind Voyages is a luxury travel company offering unique sailing adventures on board Golden Horizon, the world’s largest square-rigged sailing vessel.
Its philosophy is to use the prevailing winds and currents to take guests to destinations that traditional cruise ships can’t reach, letting them experience the ocean in all its forms.
The company approached StrategiQ to develop its brand, website and full suite of marketing collateral, in preparation for its official launch. From creating a logo, strapline and brand guidelines document to designing two brochures and naming its first ship, we drew on our full breadth of expertise to bring the brand to life.
The Tradewind Voyages brand needed to draw on the luxury and grandeur of Golden Horizon, while encapsulating the sense of adventure and discovery offered by its itineraries.
Our final logo concept ultimately informed the name of the ship – nothing says tranquility and discovery like a sun setting on the horizon. Meanwhile, ‘The Ocean’s Journey’ strapline evokes the philosophy of being guided by the wind and currents.
This work informed all other phases of the branding, website and marketing activity that we completed prior to the company’s launch. Our brand manifesto and guidelines enshrined the brand’s key messages and tone of voice, laying the foundations for the site design, page content, brochures and all future marketing output.
With the website mirroring the aspirational and luxurious feel of the brochures, we helped create a brand that strikes the right tone with customers at every single touchpoint.
