Within the first stage of our work together, we carried out a comprehensive digital audit of the group’s four websites and the wider competitor landscape to inform a wealth of opportunities.
Underpinned by this quantitative data we worked with the team at aae to define the benchmarks and KPIs that would achieve their objectives. As a result, aae received a deeper understanding of their digital marketplace alongside detailed audit documentation outlining insights driven recommendations for digital success.
Defining a new brand hierarchy
Creative & Branding
Marrying the learnings from the digital insights and brand values projects we proposed a realignment of the businesses into a suite of three refreshed brand identities under one central group brand. Key to this stage was updating the look and feel whilst being respectful of the 38 year history of the brand.
Applying the learnings from the competitor audit our creative and branding team were able to quickly identify a modernisation route that was both impactful, whilst also giving a loving nod to the brands origins and heritage. With a central brand style now in place, each of the group’s sub brands were given a vibrant update. In keeping with their own identities and retaining an element of their recognisable colour schemes we brought consistency and unity to the brand portfolio.
Consolidating and transforming digital performance

Following the successful transformation of their brand identity, we were appointed to implement the wider recommendations from the audit work covering digital architecture and performance measurement. The objective was to consolidate the four disparate websites into one central brand powerhouse.
The result was the launch of aae technologies new WordPress CMS, providing central brand authority, vastly improved marketing performance and intuitive web administration capabilities. Integrated with a new implementation of Hubspot CRM to ensure aae technologies improved user experience translated to clear and measurable sales performance.
Continuing to drive performance and revenue
With the objective of growing brand awareness, capturing a larger market share and increasing sales qualified leads we unveiled aae technologies group to the world with a fully integrated marketing strategy across, web, email, social media, paid advertising, offline and online PR.
The results of the brand launch led to a 3,500% increase in enquiries and online form submissions, 400% increase in job applications, and huge increases in traffic across all marketing channels. As we look to the future we continue to work with the Marketing and Sales team to drive their marketing strategy and make continual improvements to processes, reporting and campaign delivery.
