It’s time again to welcome another new face into the fold at StrategiQ. We’re all about growth so it’s always exciting to bring new ideas, new personalities and new opportunities to the team! This time around, we’re giving our warmest welcome to Developer, Aaron Jones!
Let’s find out a bit more about Aaron…
Aaron started out his career in development as a complete noob, at a small web agency in Banbury just over three years ago. He quickly realised that coding was something that came very naturally, and he gained experience using coding techniques and languages with ease and efficiency during his time at the agency. Aaron was then recognised as the technical engineer/developer that everyone came to for their problem solving when it came to web.
Aaron’s ‘can-do’ attitude makes him an incredible problem-solver – his desire to continue to learn and achieve anything he wants to with the right attitude is one of the reasons why he was such a great candidate for the team at StrategiQ.
And when he’s not coding?
Aaron’s a footy fan outside the office, with a spot in the local team where he regularly plays and when he’s not playing, he’s down at the ground or chilling with a beer watching his favourite team Aston Villa play kickabouts instead!
His most recent hobby is caring for his new puppy Lola – a ball of messy beagle energy which takes up a lot of his time going for long scenic walks, playing and creating chaos! (sadly not on a magic carpet)
Why did you choose StrategiQ?
“There are 2 different reasons I chose StrategiQ; 1. I was looking for a new challenge and to develop areas of my game that I am not particularly experienced in. The team here are absolute experts and there is no better way to learn new skills than from the very best. 2. I honestly care about the work that I do. I want to work for a company that wants to make a difference in the world and StrategiQ has exactly that with similar ambitions.”
