TraditionData & AI
From Invisible to Recommended: Owning High-Intent Search
TraditionData operates in a highly competitive financial data market where credibility, discoverability and technical accuracy are critical.
However, their website structure and content ecosystem were limiting their visibility in search. Key product information existed in PDFs rather than structured web pages, making it difficult for search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery systems to understand and surface their expertise.
StrategiQ implemented a data-led search transformation programme, combining AI-assisted content development, technical SEO, and commercial search strategy.
We restructured the website architecture so that product pages were built for search visibility rather than static documentation.
This involved:
-
Converting PDF-based product information into SEO/ GEO optimised web pages
-
Aligning product naming and page structure to real search behaviour
-
Introducing structured content that better communicated the value of each dataset
This ensured that TraditionData’s products could be properly indexed, interpreted and surfaced in relevant search environments.
To capture earlier-stage research behaviour, we developed a financial markets glossary targeting high-value informational queries.
This enabled TraditionData to appear earlier in the discovery journey when financial professionals were researching complex terminology and market concepts.
The glossary quickly became a powerful authority signal, generating high-quality backlinks from respected industry sources including Investopedia.
To scale content efficiently within a limited budget, we developed a custom GPT trained on TraditionData’s tone of voice, brand guidelines and historical content.
This allowed us to:
-
Analyse competitor content and identify strategic gaps
-
Generate structured content briefs
-
Produce technical content at scale while maintaining accuracy
Every piece of AI-generated content was then reviewed and validated by both StrategiQ’s AI Search team and TraditionData’s product specialists to ensure technical precision.
To further improve discoverability, we implemented structured schema markup across product pages, enabling TraditionData datasets to appear within Google Dataset Search.
This strengthened the company’s authority signals and ensured their proprietary data assets were visible in specialised discovery environments.
Finally, we aligned SEO, GEO and PPC strategies to ensure search demand could be captured across the entire buyer journey.
Organic content created awareness and authority, while paid search ensured high-intent prospects could convert once they reached the evaluation stage.
The Outcome
Within the first year, the programme delivered transformational results:
-
Organic enquiries increased from 0.5 to 9.1 per month
-
Organic revenue grew 400%
-
Ranking keywords increased from 643 to 3,752
-
Pipeline opportunities increased from 84 to 152 deals
-
Closed deals increased from 17 to 50
The campaign demonstrated how strategic search visibility can directly drive commercial growth.
